Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about SCARPA technical footwear, shipping, and performance gear.
How do I determine the right size for my SCARPA shoes?
SCARPA shoes are built on European lasts. We recommend consulting our detailed size chart and measuring your foot in centimeters. For climbing shoes, many athletes prefer a tighter fit, while for trekking boots, we suggest leaving a thumb's width of space at the toes.
What is the status of my order and how can I track it?
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number. You can use this number on our carrier's website to monitor your shipment's progress in real-time.
Can SCARPA boots be resoled?
Yes, many of our mountain and climbing models are designed to be resoleable. This extends the life of your footwear and reduces environmental impact. We recommend using an authorized SCARPA service center to ensure the original performance geometry is maintained.
What is your return policy for performance footwear?
We offer a 30-day return policy for items in original, unworn condition with all tags attached. Please note that for safety reasons, technical climbing gear cannot be returned if it has been used on a wall or outdoors.
Do you offer a warranty on your products?
All SCARPA products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This does not cover normal wear and tear, improper care, or damage caused by accidents.
How should I clean and maintain my Gore-Tex boots?
Remove the laces and footbeds, then use a soft brush and lukewarm water to remove dirt. Avoid using detergents or heat sources for drying. Periodically apply a water-based waterproofing treatment to maintain the breathability of the leather or fabric.
